All MTG events are run by the official Companion App. Please download and sign up BEFORE you arrive to the store. The event code will be added here if there’s time and it will be visible at the store screens. Adding players as a “guest” into our event does not generate more promos for the players. Players that use Companion App (CA) earn official (and unofficial) promos since player metrics is what determines the amount of promos we get for players.

 

WHAT IS PLAYER APPRECIATION: TURBO POWER?

This is a special Commander celebration event taking place December 12–18 at WPN stores worldwide. Players are invited to enjoy the most popular Magic format and take home the promo card while supplies last (OMG max.: 48). Each player begins the game with an extra Command Tower promo card on the battlefield. Use a sleeveless face-down basic land or something like that from outside the game to represent this. This card isn’t counted as part of your deck; the deck still needs to include 100 cards, and it can include another copy of the Command Tower card if they wish…TURBO POWER! At the end of the event, quickest 48 CompanionApp participants keep their Command Tower promo card as a thank-you for being part of the community.

 

STORE RULES, HYGIENE, RECYCLING, CLEANLINESS, ETC.

Players are expected to have read the store rules etc. before entering the store.

 

PRIZES

  • 1x textless/borderless/full-art highly sought after Command Tower promo card (per player) to the 48 quickest preregistered players on the CompanionApp using our code for the day (will only be visible at the store). You must sit down to play at least one game and ask for the promo as you leave (be ready to tell us the name you’re in CompanionApp). We expect all players that enter the store to have read this event info and our store rules (ie. promos might arrive late & we don’t ship them, until supplies last, etc). In the case of more than 48 players, we will see if we can accommodate with an older surplus promo, but no guarantees.
  • When it looks like most preregistered players are present, we will randomize one of our surplus promo item between all CA users per 8 Companion App users (could be anything between boosters, cards, product, etc). To be in the raffle, sign in to the CompanionApp beforehand or at the latest immediately when you arrive!
