MTG: Secrets of Strixhaven Store Championship: Standard

All MTG events are run by the official Companion App. Please download and sign up BEFORE you arrive to the store. The event code will be added here if there’s time and it will be visible at the store screens. Adding players as a “guest” into our event does not generate more promos for the players. Players that use Companion App (CA) earn official (and unofficial) promos since player metrics is what determines the amount of promos we get for players.

WHAT IS STORE CHAMPS?

Store Championship is a structured, in-store Standard format tournament that follows the release of many Magic: The Gathering sets. It is an opportunity for our players to compete, to earn commemorative promos, and gain recognition. Players should keep in mind that the Rules Enforcement Level (REL) is Regular and hence a judge will not be present (non-mandatory). Our Store Champs don’t have a top-cut (only swiss pairings) and we close at 18:00. This means that the round amount will prioritize our closing time over player amount (ie. name at the top of the final standings is the winner). The Store Champs usually have the most prestigious MTG promos that a local game store can provide and to make it even more fancy, WotC allows our extra set of Top8 Premium-only promo cards to carry the words “Oh My Game, Vantaa, Finland”…eight totally unique Magic: The Gathering cards per set, only obtainable through us!
