Welcome to our FREE Warhammer Age of Sigmar (AoS) Spearhead Learn to Play session!

Come and learn the basics AoS in the format mode of Spearhead. There will be 2 sets of boards, cards and terrain to use. Armies that can be borrowed to test at the event are:

  • Helsmiths of Hashut
  • Sons of Behemat
  • Stormcast Eternals

The games are 1vs1. There’s enough table space for up to four players to play at any given time, but we only have three armies to borrow. So if one player brings their own Spearhead army, we can have two 1vs1 battles going simultaneously. A full Spearhead game lasts about 1h 30min when new players are involved.

What to bring:

  • Motivation to learn
  • Spearhead army if you have one (assembled, doesn’t need to be painted)
  • D6 dice if you have them (we can borrow these as well)

 

WHAT IS Warhammer Age Of Sigmar: Spearhead?

Age of Sigmar: Spearhead is a fast-paced, standalone game format for Warhammer Age of Sigmar designed as an accessible, low-cost entry point. Using a single, pre-boxed army and simplified rules on a smaller board. Games ideally last about 45–60 minutes, making it great for beginners and quick, tactical battles.
