Praedor: Seikkailijan Kirja

PRAEDOR is a fantasy role-playing game based on the world of Petri Hiltunen’s comic books of the same name. It tells the story of Jaconia, a fragment of the world that has been left in the middle of the remains of a superculture destroyed by an ancient curse. In particular, it tells the story of the Praedors, skilled and brave adventurers who make trips to the ruins of Borvaria in the hope of treasures. They are the heroes and villains of legends, envied achievers and hated upstarts. Among them, the high and the low are equal, because monsters and horned spirits do not care about family trees. Praedor is pulp fantasy for adult tastes. With its books and comics, Praedor has grown into the largest Finnish fantasy brand.

The 2nd edition of the Praedor role-playing game brought 20 years of more experiences and new stories to the role-playing game. It is fully compatible with the previous supplemental books. There’s also a new comic, art by talented illustrators, more edgy rules, more world knowledge, and ways to make your adventurer even more colorful. The alchemy and monster rules have been revamped, and the timeline has been updated to 520 V.A., incorporating twists from the comics and novels. With comprehensive game management instructions, plenty of examples, and ready-made characters, the Praedor role-playing game is also suitable for new adventurers, although due to its source material, it’s not recommended for very young children.
